OLD MUTUAL REWARDS – GO2BERG COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the standard terms and conditions for the Old Mutual Rewards go2berg Competition. Participation in the Competition is accepted on adherence to these Terms and Conditions.

1. This competition is conducted and promoted by Old Mutual Rewards in association with the Old Mutual go2berg cycling race.
2. The competition starts on Monday, 20 May and ends on Friday, 21 June 2024 (campaign period). Any entries made before or after these dates will not be considered.
3. The competition is open to all Old Mutual Rewards members. Eligibility criteria:
   1. You must be Old Mutual Rewards member and complete the Old Mutual Rewards Health Questionnaire.
   2. Your Old Mutual Rewards account must be active, and you must have accepted the Old Mutual Rewards Terms and Conditions.
   3. You must complete the Old Mutual Rewards go2berg competition entry along with your cycling partner’s name and surname and accept the terms and conditions of the Old Mutual Rewards go2berg competition.
   4. You can only enter the competition once.
   5. Your cycling partner must also be an Old Mutual Rewards member when the competition winner draw takes place on 28 June 2024.
   6. Your team (you and your cycling partner) need to be available to participate in the Old Mutual go2berg event from 13th to 19th September 2024.
4. You can increase your chances of winning the prize by completing your Old Mutual Rewards Financial Wellness Activities. For every Old Mutual Rewards Financial Wellness Activity you complete, you will get an additional entry into the draw. Only the first completion of each financial wellness activity will count as an additional entry. Qualifying Financial Wellness activities to complete:
   1. Complete your FREE credit report.
   2. Request to Speak to an Old Mutual Financial Adviser here.
   3. Download the 22Seven app and complete any of the OM Rewards points earning activities.
   4. Complete any Moneyversity course.
   5. Complete your Money Personality assessment.
   6. Complete your Savings Calculator
5. The following persons, although meeting the criteria above, may not qualify to win this Old Mutual go2berg cycling experience: Directors, partners, employees, agents of, consultants or any similar connected individuals to the Old Mutual Group of companies.

7. The prize:
   1. o be eligible to win the prize you must be an Old Mutual Rewards member.
   2. There will be one team (one team of two people) selected as the winners of the prize.
   3. Entry fee for a team of two people worth R48 600. That’s R24 300 per rider (includes accommodation and meals, excludes travel). Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
   4. Exclusive gear from Pavé-Sports worth R50 000.
   5. Each winning rider of the competition must wear their Pavé-Sports gear for each day of the go2berg experience.
   6. Entrants will need to organise their own transport to the venue/ go2berg starting point. Travel is not included.
   7. If your team is selected as the winners, you must confirm your availability for the go2berg cycling race by July 5, 2024, upon being contacted by Old Mutual Rewards. In the event that both you and your teammate are unable to participate, Old Mutual Rewards reserves the right to choose an alternate team of winners for the event.
   8. If one member of the team who was selected as winners is suddenly unable to attend the go2berg cycling race you’re allowed to select another teammate to participate in their place, however, they will need to sign up to be an Old Mutual Rewards member. If both members of the winning team are unable to participate in the challenge, Old Mutual Rewards may then select another team.
8. After the closing date of the competition (21 June 2024), the winners will be selected through a random draw from the successful entries received.
9. Competition winners will be announced by 28 June 2024 and must confirm acceptance of the prize by 3 July 2024.
10. Old Mutual Rewards retains full discretion to choose the winners. If a dispute arises, the decision of the competition judges will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. Old Mutual Rewards will attempt to contact the winning team by email or SMS to inform them of their win and award their prize. Should the winning team not claim their prize within 3 working days, they will forfeit their prize and another draw will occur.
12. Entrants are responsible for providing Old Mutual Rewards with correct contact details on the go2berg entry form to ensure that they receive their prize. Old Mutual Rewards will not be held liable for any incorrect information provided.
13. With your written consent, the winners will be requested to appear and be identified on social media with no fee to them.
    1. You may not obtain a prize if it is unlawful for us to supply such a prize to you. If you do not qualify to receive such a prize, you will forfeit it.
14. Old Mutual Rewards reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without any prior notice. In the event of such termination, all entrants lose any rights which they may have against Old Mutual Rewards and acknowledge that they will have no recourse to any claim of any sort.
15. Old Mutual Rewards has the right to disqualify any entrant if we believe that the entrant:
    1. has not complied with these rules; or
    2. has tried to unfairly influence the outcome of their competition entry. Old Mutual Rewards (Pty) Ltd. is a company in the Old Mutual Group.
